Seven Springs

A successful business in the UK enabled husband and wife team, Tim and Vaughan Pearson from England, to follow a dream of owning a wine farm in South Africa. That dream became a reality back in 2006 when, after a number of trips to South Africa and a wide search for the right property, they found the perfect portion of farmland - 12 hectares of unplanted land on the R320, just outside of Hermanus via the Hemel-en-Aarde appellations. Their first vintage was in 2010 - today they produce exceptional Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. The soils are predominantly Bokkeveld shale and together with the farms' elevation and cool maritime climate, a unique dimension is added to the winemaking. The journey there, the views down the Tesselaarsdal valley, the quirky Onion Shack and the warm and welcoming team will entice you to visit the farm, but it is their wine that will ultimately keep you coming back for more!
